Third Party Cookies
Like many companies, we allow certain third-party advertising partners to place tracking technology, such as cookies and pixels, on our websites. These technologies enable our partners to collect information about your activities on our websites and associate it with your browser, device, or other online identifier. They may use this information to deliver interest-based ads to you as you browse the internet.
Your Right to Opt Out
Under some US state privacy laws, consumers have the right to opt out of the sale/sharing of their personal information with third-parties for the purpose of targeted advertising. Please note that we do not sell any personal information as “sell” is traditionally understood. However, the meaning of “sell” under the applicable laws is broadly defined and includes the sharing of personal information for targeted advertising purposes as well. In this context, targeted advertising refers to ads that may be shown to you based on information collected about your activity across our websites and other third-party websites through tracking technologies (e.g., cookies). For more information about our use of cookies and other similar technologies, and details on how to manage your cookie preferences, please see our Cookie Policy.
How to Opt Out
If you wish to opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information with third-parties for the purpose of targeted advertising, please use our and disable targeting cookies by toggling off the Targeting Cookies category.
If you have a Pulsz account, you may make the request after logging into your account, as this will help us match the request to your account and apply it more broadly. If you are not logged in, or do not have a Pulsz account, your opt-out request will apply only to your browser and will not be linked to any account information because the connection between your browser and the account is not known to us.
You can also enable a recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, through your browser to opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information.
Please note if you opt-out, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized based on your online activity. Because we typically do not associate information collected through tracking technologies on our website with information in our systems, the opt out will apply only to the browser from which you opt out. Therefore, if you disable cookies on your browser or upgrade your browser after opting out, you will need to opt-out again. Additionally, if you use multiple browsers or devices, you must complete the opt-out process separately on each one.
Managing Your Advertising Preferences
You may opt-out of receiving targeted ads from third-party advertisers and ad networks that participate in the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) by using the NAI opt out tool. You may also opt-out of receiving targeted ads from other companies that perform interest-based advertising services via the Digital Advertising Alliance’s consumer choice page or the TRUSTe’s Ad Preference Manager. These opt-out tools are provided by third-parties and apply only to advertising partners or other entities that participate in such industry opt-out programs. We do not control or operate these tools, nor do we control the choices that advertisers make through them.
When using the ad industry opt out tools described above, please note that:
